This Privacy Policy explains how UtilsDesk handles information when you visit or use the UtilsDesk website and its free online tools.
UtilsDesk is primarily designed as a browser-based utility website. Many tools process user-provided content locally in the browser and do not require an account. Some website features, analytics, advertising, hosting, security, or third-party functionality may involve external service providers.
If you contact us by email, we may receive the information contained in your message, including your name, email address, subject, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.
Depending on the services enabled on the website, technical information may be processed by UtilsDesk or its service providers. This can include IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, diagnostic data, and information about interactions with the website.
Many UtilsDesk tools are designed to process files, images, text, or calculations directly in your browser. When a tool operates entirely client-side, the content processed by that tool is not intentionally uploaded to UtilsDesk servers as part of normal tool operation.
Local browser storage may also be used for preferences, favorites, recently used tools, theme settings, and the per-tool download allowance. This information normally remains on your device unless a browser or third-party service separately transmits information.
UtilsDesk and its providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, analytics, advertising, and preferences.
Where applicable law or an advertising-provider policy requires consent, the relevant non-essential technologies will be enabled only in accordance with the applicable consent mechanism.
When Google Analytics is enabled, UtilsDesk may use it to understand traffic, tool usage, performance, and general audience trends. Google may process technical identifiers, device information, interactions, approximate geographic information, and other analytics data according to the configuration and Google's applicable policies.
UtilsDesk may display advertisements through Google AdSense and other advertising partners. Advertising providers may use cookies, IP addresses, identifiers, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve, measure, secure, and limit advertising and, where permitted, personalize advertising.
Google requires publishers to provide disclosures and, where required, obtain consent for advertising technologies. For applicable users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, UtilsDesk will use the consent-management mechanism configured for the website and applicable Google publisher requirements. Where Google AdSense is served to traffic requiring a Google-certified CMP, the website will use Google AdSense Privacy & Messaging or another applicable Google-certified consent-management platform configured in the AdSense account. Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable law, consent choices, and Google settings.
Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies or use web beacons, IP addresses, identifiers, or similar technologies when advertising or other Google services are used on the website.
Information about how Google may use data from partner sites is available in Google's published privacy information at Google's partner-site data page.
We may rely on third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, analytics, advertising, security, communications, fonts, libraries, or other website functions. UtilsDesk is hosted and delivered through Vercel. Vercel and other providers may process technical information, such as IP address, request information, browser information, and security-related data, as necessary to provide, operate, and protect their services. Each provider may process information according to its own terms and privacy policy and the services enabled on UtilsDesk.
The Currency Converter currently retrieves exchange-rate data from a third-party exchange-rate API. The selected base currency is included in that request so the service can return the corresponding rates. The amount you enter is used for the conversion in your browser and is not intentionally included in that exchange-rate request. The service may provide its own response metadata, such as an update timestamp, with the rate data returned to the browser.
Because UtilsDesk is available worldwide and may use international service providers, information may be processed in countries outside India or your country of residence. Where applicable, we will use safeguards required by applicable privacy law and the relevant service provider arrangements.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained, legitimate operational needs, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, or enforcement of rights. Third-party providers may retain information according to their own policies and contractual or legal requirements.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of information handled by UtilsDesk. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including access to information, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, and the right to raise a privacy grievance.
To make a privacy request or grievance, contact us at the address below. We may need sufficient information to verify and properly respond to a request. Rights may be subject to lawful exceptions and limitations.
Depending on where you live, local privacy laws may provide additional rights or choices relating to personal information, advertising, cookies, local storage, or targeted advertising. UtilsDesk will address applicable requests in accordance with the laws that apply to the relevant processing. Google and other advertising providers may also provide their own privacy and advertising controls.
UtilsDesk is a general-purpose website and is not intentionally directed to children where doing so would require additional parental-consent requirements. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in circumstances where it should not have been collected, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
UtilsDesk is operated from India and will handle personal data in accordance with applicable Indian privacy and data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, to the extent and from the dates those provisions apply to the relevant processing. The Act and Rules have a phased commencement schedule, so particular obligations may become applicable at different times. Mandatory rights and protections applicable to users in other jurisdictions are not intended to be excluded.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our tools, providers, advertising configuration, processing practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
